The USO dance at InfoAge a couple of weeks ago was a real fun event.
This month there are multiple model train exhibits that the kids will really
appreciate. Schedule is: December 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd and 23rd. Hours
are Friday 7 to 10 PM, Saturday 12 to 6 PM and Sunday 12 to 6 PM. Kids are
free but big people will have to pay $5.00. It's an impressive display and
on Sundays you can see the other displays and the radio museum as well. The
museum and InfoAge will be closed on December 24th and 31st.
The radio museum has scheduled workdays on Wednesdays from about 9 AM till
whatever, if you have some time we can use the help. All types of work is
involved from carpentry to cleaning to moving stuff around.
InfoAge is trying to finish up restoration work in the Marconi Hotel so that
a dedication day can be planned. If you have some free time and are not
afraid to do some cleaning, painting and whatever, your presence would be
more than welcome. Almost any time can be accommodated. Contact Fred Carl
at Fred-Carl at infoage.org or Steve Goulart at sfg at comcast.net or
732-749-3318.
