If the emission is down, it might rejuvinte as well (or as poorly) as
other tubes. But if it's target "burn", I would expect to see a greater
degree of deterioration on that portion of the target that is lit most
often and little or no burn on that portion where the eye rarely if ever
closes to. If the phosphor is anything similar to that used on CRTs
(anyone know?), a serious burn, if it's there, should be visible when the
tube's off. Maybe you can check your weak tubes for that and report to us
if you can see anything. Or bring them to the party and we can all ogle
them!
