[NJARC] Saturday Work Day

Yes I know that it is Labor Day weekend but what better time to put in some
effort at our new museum facility.  A great deal of voulunteer work has
already been done to get this facility ready for the Sept. 16th Induction
Ceremony but there are still many details to finish so if you can spend any
time here, please come out.  Here are some tasks to be accomplished:
1.  Our new display cabinets with their glass doors and shelves need to be
cleaned, bring plenty of Windex and paper towels.
2.  A couple of radios need to be cleaned and polished for display, bring
your Go-Jo and Old English.
3.  Partitions need to be assembled and display cases moved, the usual grunt
work.
4.  Some of the items in the cottge need to be transferred over to the L
building.
5.  Posters and pictures need to be hung along with the arrangement of
radios and artifacts.
The good news:  New carpeting is all in place, all painting is done, all
windows are being cleaned and scraped by contracted cleaners so much of the
dirty work is over.
We can also help set up the telephone exchange building for our September
meeting (chairs & tables).
Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, any time from 8 AM till
whatever.
