As most of you are aware, the National Broadcaster Hall of Fame is holding
its first Induction Ceremony in 10 years at the Marconi Hotel at InfoAge.
NJARC is custodian of the NBHF museum and artifacts and we are working to
make our final museum home look presentable for the ceremony on the 16th.
The inductees are Arthur Anderson, voice actor, Charles Osgood, news writer
and anchor and Les Paul, famed guitarist and pioneer of the electric guitar.
The ceremony takes place at noon on Saturday and all inductees have
committed to be there, health permitting. Fred Foy, former Lone Ranger
announcer will be MC. A luncheon will be served and the affair should last
most of the afternoon. Attendance is limited to 200 guests so if you are
interested in attending this gala affair, get your request in ASAP. I have
a batch of invitations that I will be glad to send to anyone interested or
better yet, e-mail Barbara Ruane at mbruane at comcast.net. The cost is $65.00
per person, attire is business casual. Attendance is limited so get your
reservation in promptly. Any questions, get back to me.
Ray
