Hello,

On behalf of the Plainsboro Historical Society and myself I want to
thank you in advance for any leads or assistance you might be able to
provide. Although the speaker has been set - as well as the date of
October 7th - we have no display models. Any antique telphones would be
welcome. Ideally, if there was a way to actually hook a couple up
across a room, we would be ecstatic, as that would be so much fun for
the audience - especially any children who attend.

Again, thank you for any connections or ideas with which you might be
able to supply me..Regards,

Bill

This is a little afield from the main interests of club members, but I
recall there being some overlap with telephone collectors. Bill Hart of
the Plainsboro Historical Society is organizing a talk on the Farmers
and Merchant Telephone Company (www.plainsborohistory.com/events.html)
on October 7. He would like to exhibit some 20th century telephones at
the Society, ideally from that company, but if you can help the PHS or
point Bill in the right direction, that would be terrific.

Some of you may recall Bill as the historian who introduced the War of
the Worlds broadcast here in 2003.

thanks,
Alex
