Don,

This sounds quite good. Want to bring some students or just us or whatever?

Dick

As most of you know NJARC is custodian of the National Broadcasters Hall of
Fame artifacts and the history of inducting notable radio entertainers into
the Broadcasters Hall of Fame. It has been 10 years since an induction has
taken place and with the progress made at InfoAge that is about to change.
On Saturday afternoon on September 16th from 1 to 3 PM an Induction Ceremony
will take place at InfoAge honoring three notables namely: Les Paul, Charles
Osgood of CBS and Arthur Anderson a noted disc jockey. It would be a
decided advantage to show our preliminary radio museum in the building
behind the Marconi hotel at that time. This is not to take away from our
efforts in cottage #2 but we are just about ready to start the move to
larger quarters. Quite a bit of work has already been done in that end of
the building and primarily the task is to get carpets on the floor, move out
extraneous items, start emplacing the great display cabinets that we just
acquired and move radio artifacts into place. Therefore this Saturday, the
12th will be a work day in that building to move material around in order to
allow carpeting to be completed. InfoAge has agreed to put all new carpet
in the museum area and once that is done we can start to assemble a larger
museum. The intent is to show a museum effort as a work in progress on the
16th of September. Please try to give us of your time on this Saturday and
any other days that you can spare a few hours. Arrangements can be made for
most any volunteer time. This induction ceremony will really put NJARC and
InfoAge on the map; it's an exciting time for us. Contact me for any
questions and particulars.
Ray
