[NJARC] Auction Heads Up

On Friday August 4th the remainder of the Joe Boer estate will be auctioned of at the Old Feedmill Auction Center in Boonton, NJ.  Literally there is a ton of stuff from the "good the bad and the ugly".  Check out the web site at <wwwoldfeedmillauction.com>, some items are pictured.  Here are some of the significant ham items: Collins 32V transmitter, good; Collins KWM-1, 2 of these, fair; National 100XA rec. fair; Heathkit SSB Single Bander, two of these; Collins 75A1 rec. good; several HV supplies and modulators & an RF deck.  Also, Knight R195 rec. ; National HRO no case; Boer Transmitter Exciter model J-603B; Johnson Viking Match Box; Heathkit HW 32A rec.; BC-610 Antenna Tuner, no case.  Plus litterly boxes and boxes of transmitting tubes, ARC parts, test equipment military stuff etc.  Some of this stuff is VG, and some is from a wet basement.  Auction is mostly in the West Gallery (basically an old shed which should be like an oven on Friday evening).  The auction is a "walk around" in crowded quarters and many items are sold "choice" by the table full although the better items are supposedly to be sold as individuals.  Auction starts at 5 PM, check web site for directions, it should be calamitous affair.
