Hi Steve,
Of course "it depends". With shouldered tubes and no speaker not worth much. 
With globes and a a drum speaker it will add about $75 to the worth of the 
radio that today may bring only about $25 in working condition. I found mine over 
10 years ago for $10 with no speaker and a mix of tubes. It was sort of 
working at the time. Later I had to do other repairs. ( potted power supply, big 
job )
Anyone think these prices are too low? I don't think so as recent auctions 
and swaps seem to reflect depressed values.
