As most of you know we did a house clean out in Neptune on the 9th of
Sept. Filthy place, mostly test equipment but in the cluttered living
room was a display of 11 antique tubes. I took them home to test them,
protect them and clean them up. Like everything else in the house they
are a strange lot.
1. UV-199, BB TT GF
2. WD-12, BB TT OF, broken tip top
3. UV-200, BB TT, base is split and leads are unsoldered
4. WD-11 base with what appears to be a 201 globe mounted on it ??
5. DeForest brown bakelite base, TT, has a paper label but type number
is smudged, OF
6. DeForest Isolantite base, TT, no label, OF
7. DeForest DV-2 on a RCA UV-201A base, TT, OF
8. Tube marked O-T-1. Printed on base; "MANF'D for the O & T Electric
Corp. by DeForest Tel. & Tel Co.". BB TT OF
9. UV style nickle base tube hand labeled RO-14, an early tube,
internal structure looks bent, OF
10. RCA WD-11 BB TT OF
11. Globe 80 w/darkened glass, OF
Hope you understand my abreviations, they should be self evident. I'll
clean up the tubes and hold them for a possible tube display.
Ray
