[NJARC] 9-12 Swap Meet

Hi Jim,

With the exception of the fact that the 1924 Atwater Kent 20C ( the one
with the horn speaker) was being powered by a solid-state power supply
rather than batteries, everything that was playing was exactly what it
appeared to be. These are examples of the sort of restoration work that
takes place at the NJARC repair clinics. The other playing sets were a
1936 General Electric A-82 "Tombstone" and a WWII BC-348 aircraft
communication receiver.. The crystal set and one-tube regen in the
hands-on lab were of recent construction.

Welcome to the club,
Al

*Dave - Please forward to Jim, and invite him to join the reflector.*
