I repaired an old Philco radio that had a burnt 'micamold' part. It looked like a mica cap but turned out to be a wire wound resistor! Don't let the word 'micamold' fool you into thinking it's 'Mica" Nick Senker

Unless I missed it , no one mentioned that "Micamold" is a brand of
capacitors (and resistors) that are made in a plastic package that resembles a mica
capacitor. They are NOT however mica capacitors but paper caps inside of a
plastic case not unlike the infamous Sprague "black beautys"
