California Historical Radio Society/KRE REPORT:

Our March 5th swap meet in Citrus Heights was a big success. The turnout 
was great. The weather was beautiful & everyone had a great time. Thanks to 
CHRS member Dale Tucker who set up the event and got us donated coffee from 
Starbucks. Thanks also to Dale's wife Cathy who made delicious muffins for 
us. Also a big thank you goes out to Dale, Scott Biasotti, Bob  Beckman & 
Paul Warenycia who trucked over the remainder of the radio stuff left by 
the late CHRS member Bob Jackson and set it up in the library conference 
room. In addition to the meet, Bob's stuff was offered up for sale & we 
raised a nice amount for Bob's widow.

We look forward to coming to Citrus Heights next year. It is a great location.

     I am pleased to report that our landlord, Mr. Harvey Stone & Inner 
Cities Broadcasting will be putting a new roof on the KRE building. This is 
great news for us all. We will be meeting this week with Berkeley Plumbing 
to re-address our flushing problem, now that we own the big pump needed for 
the repair. We will also be meeting with Jane Powell, a linoleum expert, to 
evaluate our historic flooring.    Remember, the only way we will succeed 
in our vision of creating this place devoted to RADIO, is by your 
continuing support. CHRS needs your dollars and your time. Please donate 
both to CHRS. It will make you feel great. Please send back your 2005 
renewals & donations as soon as you can.
