[NJARC] Radiating With Navy Transmitter

Hi,
After a month of running my newly-operational WWII Navy TCK transmitter
(2x813 in PA), and with the Classic Exchange coming up, I decided to
eliminate the rat's nest of breadboarded power supplies and tidy it up to
be safer and neater. I finished up the new B+ supply to replace one I was
borrowing from another transmitter. Imagine my delight when I first threw
the switch and the 1" diameter red pilot light lit up in the shape of a
"Warning, Radiation" symbol(with the 3 triangles). Whahoooo! , we're
radiating now!

It doesn't have a tachometer, but it does have rotating parts......

Sorry, Honey, that's not the vacuum you hear me running for hours on end,
it's my transmitter. Note that Electrolux made dynamotors for the military
in WWII.
