[NJARC] 955 Acorn

Hi Guys:

My little 955 acorn transmitter is working - but not as well as I had expected...output is only 0.02 watts for 2 'nuts'.

So, I'm rererereading my books on vacuum tubes to better understand the 2x955 push-pull 'amp'.

My challenge right now is drawing the loadline.

I'd appreciate your generous help.

I'm coming right off the plates to a toroid parallel tank - nominally 40 microhenries with about 100 to 500 pf @ 3.75 MHz with the tube plates series fed via the toroid center tap with 180 vdc @ 5ma plate when the xtal oscillates.

Toolwise - VTVM, 50 ohm dummy load & operator, adequate O'scope.
