I came across him via an Stromberg Carlson 225 eBay item he put there....I 
contacted him about it...he says he finished the wood to piano-like 
finish....this is a very-very high gloss finish as anyone who has seen a piano can 
agree....wellllll...tain't the way my Stromberg Carlson 61H was finished.

It must look very nice, indeed....but seems to me like it would be in the 
same category as those 'spiffed-up', high chrome gleem, multi-color accessorized, 
jazzed up Cadu's those hip-folks don drive.

Moreover, that nice warm golden glow from the dial faceplate goes most 
sweetly with the touch of the wooded knobs and textural finish of the wood 
cabinet...especially in the late evening with only one small room lamp on....and the SW 
station fading in&out..in&out...in&out....zzzzzzzzzzzzz
