Hi all: Thanks for the help on the 227/27 tube. Next question: What is the purpose of the round green covered wire coil - about 4 inches in diameter - that are under the tube sockets in the vintage radios? What kind of wire used?...specs? etc. Tnx, Steve Tetorka
