Yep, I for one would be OK with these ratings.  

Seems that the voltage limit for CC are found by solving the power law
for that particular application or 250 volts for 0.25 watt (350 volts for
0.5 watt) whichever is less.  For MF it is 200 volts regardless. MF
resistors have very conservative specs to increase their reliability. 
Would not be surprised if the voltage derating is 50% (i.e. 400 volts
maximum actually).

MF are very good resistors.  The MF resistive element is on the outside
while CC is in the center.  They can handle more power because of more
surface area to radiate heat. Not to mention that tasty alumina center! 
Sorry, been thinking about M&M peanuts lately.

Now, lets talk about music power versus RMS power!
