Hello All,

Saturday is almost here. This past weekend Warren Cochran, Phyllis
Heinle, Michelle Heinle, Dave Snellman, Evan Koblentz, Matt Ryan, Ron
Olender, Henry Stinga, Pat Stinga, Frank O'Brien and Rob Flory were at
work in this heat. The place is 95% ready.

Wall DPW sweep the parking lot today, for a second time. We have
three old air-conditioners cooling the hotel as best they can. Wall BOE
will be lending us 100 chairs. Mike Ruane has arranged for a color
guard, WW2 vehicles to be here and his son Tom Ruane will setup his
sound system.

We will be doing last minute stuff, hanging the many posters and
setting up the artifacts in the display cases on Thursday and Friday
evenings. All are welcome to join in.

For the day of the event. We need four persons to direct parking
from 9AM to 11AM. A few greeters to point people where the front door
is, where the ceremony is etc.. A person to ask visitors to sign in.
So if you are game to help out in the morning, please email me.

We got a call from the daughter of a 94 year old camp Evans radar
developer. He is in the hospital negotiating with his doctor to let him
out for the ceremony...he promises to return, it is that important to
him to be here. We are doing a good thing, saying thank you to those
who answered the nation's call 60 years ago.

  Thank you,
   Fred
