a way to televise moving pictures in the 1920's, you might not be able
to see this show.
    "MAN, MOMENT, MACHINE
The right people, the right time, with the right technology.  Watch what
happens when they all come together."

    Actually, I would suggest that the development of Nipkow and
electromechanical television had almost no bearing on the development of
the electronic systems we watch today, except to fill in during the
early 1930s for all-electronic components not yet reduced to practice.
But if the show moves an audience to respect the resourcefulness and
determination of inventors, that's all to the good.
