Everyone,
I'm forwarding a letter received from M.A Hoffman (IEEE)
regarding the new NJARC display at the IEEE History Center
in Piscataway, NJ.
Special thanks to Ray Chase for handling the logistics of
the display in such a short amount of time. As soon as we
get hold of some pictures, we will put them on the webpage.

Subject: Antique Radio Exhibit
Hi Phil:
On behalf of the IEEE History Center, I wish to heartfully thank
you and the New Jersey Antique Radio Club for providing the
IEEE Operations Center in Piscataway with a magnificent exhibit
on the History of Radio.
Special recognition must go to Ray Chase, who went above and
beyond the call of duty in rounding up the artifacts and installing
it in our Piscataway facility.
The very positive comments from IEEE staff attest to the success
of the Exhibit.
I cordially invited you and the members of the Club to come to
Piscataway
to view it. Kindly note that, due to security reason, I will need
advance
notice. (And you can view the Wheeler Washington Receiver!)
The Exhibit is now in place and just in time for "Take Our Children to
Work" day, which will be held tomorrow at the Operations Center. An
Amateur Ham Radio talk will be featured and the Hams will be
incorporating
the Exhibit in part of their talk.
Regards,
Mary Ann
