As has been mentioned at meetings, NJARC has a unique opportunity to set
up a radio history display at the IEEE operations headquarters at
Piscataway, NJ.  We have four cases to fill and the setup will cover;
pre-1920, the 20' and the 30's - 40's.  Since the pre-20's items may be
the hardest to find I'm looking for equipment to be volunteered in this
category first. Could be crystal sets, very early radios probably home
brews, early tubes (doubt that anyone has a spherical audion to
contribute) even small spark transmitters. The case for these is
shallow, not much more than 14 inches deep, so they cannot be too big.
Obviously we are looking for items in good shape. Time is short so I
need commitments as soon as possible. This display will be seen by
thousands of technical people as well as guests and will be a big boost
for the club. The cases are locked and security is beyond reproach.
The display will be up for one year and we will handle placarding and
pick up if necessary. Great chance to display your goodies in a very
professional environment.
Ray
