I notice the same effect when I am soldering, even when listening to FM which I thought would be immune from interference. Nick Senker

Hi guys:
My 1948 rack rig is ready for its first test flight.
While I was working on it...I would listen to my Telefunken Gavotte and
enjoy
some Middle Eastern music while thinking of lightly clad belly dancers.
On occasion, I would have to make a solder joint using my soldering gun.
Darn if the signal strength and volume of the SW station wouldn't increase
while I made the connection.
Why?
Is this a navel radio? It may be Doppler effect from the belly movement.
Or the dancer is besolder self thinking about you. Do you have the antenna up?
Bill
PS Well someone was going to do it, why not me!
