Love to hear good news. When is the next "work party" scheduled?

We've waited so long, it's about time "our" tax dollars begin to bear fruit.

1. The RAB meeting on Monday night was tame, no fireworks, lots of love
and harmony. Seriously the Army is really trying to get rid of the
place and is working to that end. The work they commited to do on the
Marconi hotel is nearly done and they are aiming to transfer that
property, including the Library building behind it by the end of the
year. Actually drawing up the deed takes more time than completing the
work. The hotel will have heat but the library will not but I'm told
that air hanblers have been donated and these can be fitted with heat
exchangers. The H buildings are still a year away as there is currently
no funding for the work that the Army has commited to do. Still, they
are determined to get rid of the property!!
2. I gave a phone interview to a reporter from the Asbury Park Press
today so those of you in that area please keep an eye out for an article
and get some copies if you see it.
Ray
