Al - I appreciate the information! It makes sense that they were designed  
for portable sets.
 
How does your schedule look this week? I'll be in the office on Thursday  
morning, and have to take the xyl for a "procedure" on Wednesday morning, but  
I'll be off for the remainder. I'd like to collect the 01A's from you.

PS: I recently picked up 2 NIB matched pair sets of Amperex 805's  from Dave, 
K3ZRF. I know 805's were primarily used for audio service and as  modulators 
in some higher powered military transmitters, but never  seen them in MP's. Do 
you know if they're popular with the "audiophools"?   Just curious.I've never 
seen them in a class A audio amp before.
