A trick we used to use in humid climates to keep film and video equipment
dry was to put it in a box (a generic cardboard carton will do, with an
ordinary 60 watt light bulb to provide mild heat and dehumidification.
Any size item should be easy enough to treat using this method, just get
a big enough box. Kind of an Eaxy-Bake oven for A/V geeks! No danger
either, unless you let the bulb get too close to the cardboard.
