[NJARC] Fixing a Loctal Tube socket

I seem to remember, from my younger days, repairing octal output tube 
sockets.  When the sockets carbonized i would make a cut through the bad part and 
bridge the cut with a good glue.

Also a high voltage arc on a HV transformer can often be repaired with 
silicone glue. The important part is to let it dry for a couple of days before you 
power it up. The insulation properties were not  there till it was cured well.
