Hi Gang,

I received about 5 replies from prospective adopting parents.  I replied to 
the first one and received a confirmation that it will be picked up next 
week.  Thanks to all the rest - I wish I had 5 of them to give away.

This radio came from a teacher in my school, who had a friend, who wanted 
to get rid of it, after his kids had fun poking out the speaker cone. (That 
was 10 years ago, I'm told - at least he didn't throw it away.)

It appears from all the comments that his is quite a radio, well worth 
restoring. On those two speakers, they sure are different.  I thought it 
strange that I couldn't find the wiring laying in the cabinet - somewhere 
for them.  It all makes sense now.

I'm going to miss the meeting on Friday (as of now anyway) so have fun.
