Impedance is 2,000 ohms. Block oscillator (should) drive them adequately.

  Subject: [NJARC] WWI headphone impedance

Joel Cohen is working with me on a number of exhibit projects for the David Sarnoff
Library, one of which involves attaching a block oscillator to our telegraph key and a
pair of WE 509W headphones. He's not on the internet, so I'm asking what's the
impedance of the headphones and will the block oscillator drive them?
      thanks,
  Alex Magoun
