Hi Robert,
Very good write up on the MAARC weekend......you were exact about what
happened. I think you found your calling. You should write articles on
meets...I
am a life member and have been going for years... I know Ed and Brian well.
The last couple years it rained and the year before the last two the air
conditioning wasn't working the whole weekend, and we sweat like pigs at the
banquet....It was very uncomfortable....But the officers and the volunteers
always do
an incredible job to make an enjoyable weekend. I was sitting right behind
Lud, and I too am a tube hound....I have over 15 thousand, and still counting
probably closer to 20 thousand. I also could not find some radios to my
liking. I
am getting more and more selective in my quest. I dont just like to possess
them but I like to restore and use them..I was a color TV analyzer for
Westinghouse in the late '60s when they still used tubes. Presently I am a
state
licensed electrical contractor and live in east central New Jersey.....
Well Happy Amplification, Michael S. Pasko
