To all NJARC'ers
Some were asking about repair lessons. This looks pretty good and it's
only $40 Bucks. The DVD version would allow slow stepping and stills -
plus instant replays.
You will need to email Bret directly for more information. I have tried to
send his message over ten times to the list, but something in there looks
like Spam and it gets rejected.
Here's some text
After a year of work, I'm thrilled to begin taking advance orders for my
brand new VHS and DVD, Antique Radio Restoration Volume 2. In Volume 1, we
followed one radio through the entire restoration process. It was very
hands-on, not going into much detail or theory. In Volume 2, we'll use
nearly a dozen DIFFERENT radios to demonstrate scores of intermediate to
advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques! We'll really dig into
receiver theory, tube theory, schematic diagrams, radio alignment, and much
more. I present the info in a very conversational, easy-to-understand
style, and after you view it, I think you'll be confident enough to tackle
even the most challenging electronic restorations.
Good luck, John Dilks, K2TQN
