Regarding 'Mystery Radio'
I'm reading a booklet I just purchased from Lindsay Publications, Chicago IL (lindsaybks.com) titled "The Impoverished Radio Experimenter, Vol 1" It starts out with a one tube receiver that looks just like yours and refers to 'Circuit 76 from Henley's 222 Radio Circuit Diagrams from 1923' and a circuit on page 46 of 'How to build Your Radio Receiver' by Banning and Cockaday, 1924. The booklet is quite detailed and informative.

Subject: [NJARC] Help Identifying A Radio

I have this old homebrew broadcast receiver built on a breadboard.
It looks like it has never been finished and I have no history for the
thing.

I have pictures and description on my web page at
http://www.qsl.net/k7fj/

Just go there and click on 'Mystery Radio' to see it.

I would really like to know more about it ... that is, if there really
is anything to know. I am thinking of rebuilding
it and, if there was any sort of design published for it then I want
to be faithful to that design.

My pictures do not show the wooden box that the panel was mounted in.
The box was nailed together from scrap lumber and is a wreck.

I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks,

Don K7FJ
