To all,
The latest Antique Radio Classified (August 2004) has a wonderful story
about the California Historical Radio Society (CHRS) getting an old radio
station to call home. After they fix up the building they will have a
Museum, Library and a great meeting and fleamarket location.
They have the building for ten years, and are responsible for repairs,
expenses and upkeep.
You can also read about it on line at:

Click on CHRS News - there are several articles about the new building and
project there.
Since I will be unable to make the next NJARC meeting to make a motion: I
would like to suggest that the NJARC send at least $1000. to CHRS for their
building project. If someone would make that motion in my place, that
would be wonderful. They really need our help to get things going.
I'm hoping all you will support our fellow collectors in California with a
private donation as well. Information is on the web site where you can
join and/or send them some money.
