[NJARC] FS:Breting 14 communications receiver

Having spent the kid's college fund on a new Navy transmitter, I need to
thin my collection of non-Navy stuff.

The Breting 14 is a 1936 LA-made superhet using 6K7/6J7 -type tubes.  It
has a crystal filter with front-panel phasing control.  Band-in-use tunin=

scale behind a unique mirrored dial face.  You don't find many of these.

I have recapped this rig, and replaced a few resistors.  I have heard Jap=
an
on 160meters and had two-way contacts with Australia there too.  I have
used it as high as 20 meters.

The price is $400 firm to an NJARC member.  Pick up at my house or the
October meeting.
