[NJARC] tube tester

hi everyone,
after long hours searching the internet and requesting help from the =
technicians groups that I belong to, I still cannot find any information =
on what I've been calling my "drug store tube tester". it is a CENTURY =
model SS-1 serial# 1313.
I can easily understand why no kept one of these due to size of the unit =
(about 1/3 the size of a phone booth) but what is really puzzling me is =
that I have found NOTHING on this unit. no one evens mentions this unit. =
its as if it had never existed. I'm having a problem believing that this =
unit is that obscure or rare that no one has even heard of it.
if anyone has any hints on where i might find any info at all or if you =
remember seeing one of these unit at one time or another i would be more =
than happy to hear from you.
