Hi Joe,
Here are the values from the "book" for a radio in good shape and most
likely should be working.
118H , console, 1935, wood, upper front window dial, lower cloth grill with
cut-outs, 4 knobs, BC, SW, 8 tubes, AC $120.00-140.00
118MX , console, 1935, wood, upper front window dial, lower cloth grill
with 2 vertical bars, 4 knobs, BC, SW, 8 tubes, AC $100.00-125.00
118X , console, 1935, wood, upper front window dial, lower cloth grill with
3 vertical bars, 4 knobs, BC, SW, 8 tubes, AC $100.00-125.00
As you can see there are 3 different floor models listed here.
Based on your description, I would give no more than $25. There may be
parts in it that if you have to purchase replacements for, that could
exceed the value of the radio. Philco radios are not rare around here,
they were made nearby.
