The club radio display is up and running at the Cranbury, NJ Historical
Museum. We have 68 radios shown plus ephemera and other items loaned
from six club members. The museum is open only on Sunday afternoon from
1:00 to 4:00 but is worth an hours visit in it's own right. Cranbury is
a very old and interesting town and the historical society is very
active and have maintained a very complete small museum with separate
display room. The display will be up for several months and you are
welcome to visit and even spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon to act
as guide and answer questions, who knows what new treasures we might pry
out of an attic. Cranbury is just north of Heightstown, NJ, easiest
access is off Rt. 130. Just north of Heightstown, take County 535 west
for a mile or so and watch for a museum sign on the left as you get into
town. Address is 4 Park Place and is half a block on the right after
you turn left, a small yellow house. Next door is an old book shop so
you could browse there as well.
