Hello again,
i would like to be part of Steves learning group if it's
scheduled. if so could you supply the time of the class. also what time
does the clinic start?
Tom
Phil,
>I think this might be a chance to attempt a training session since there
>is strong interest. I would be willing to try to handle a group of 4-5
>individuals. What I think would work is setting up a group station with
>enough basics (soldering irons, tools, etc) for each and a joint use of
>tube testers, books, etc. as always. Assuming that most of the radios
>would require only the normal assistance it should be able to keep
>everyone busy doing their own work.
>
>A quick one hour start up would include soldering, schematics (at least
>tube pin counts) and an overview of each person's radio. Since hands on
>is the best way to learn this could be an ideal way to start. I think
>there are probably a fair number of people who have some knowledge and
>wouold just need occasional assistance.
>
>Assistance to the group when I get stuck could be provided as it always
>is by our experts.
