[NJARC] Save the Sarnoff book collection!

Alex,

I have been contacted by several members of the NJARC who are willing to 
donate money to the club for the purchase of the library; with the idea 
that the library be moved to Camp Evans; and since Phil Vourtsis has 
authorized me to contact you on behalf of the club, I want to make the 
following offer:

Please determine exactly how much money would be required for the NJARC to 
purchase the entire radio/electronic library. These are the books that were 
shown to me last month.  Also, please withdraw any books that have been set 
aside for private sale, and include these into the package price.

Since were are tentatively offering to purchase the entire lot, please hold 
the planned Saturday sale until we have the opportunity, as a club, to vote 
on the purchase.

I'm sure, as a curator of a museum, you can appreciate preserving and 
keeping the Sarnoff collection together.  The NJARC will be good caretakers 
for the future.
