I have the H 31 which predates your set by about 8 years. It is shown on
page 86 of the Stein "Pre-War Consoles" as a "lowboy". For many years,
since there was no identification left on the radio, I thought it was a
Radiola 80. RCA made the chassis for themselves, Westinghouse, Graybar and
GE. Or was it GE that made the chassis, I'm so confused. I now also have
the Radiola 80 version. I have not seen the Westinghouse or Graybar
version.
I like the large consoles and have several. Why do they have to be so big?
My wife hates them, especially the one that has a Radiola 20 on one side
and a wind up phonograph on the other.
