David Sarnoff did.  If he were still alive, he would confirm what I just said.

He was a Marconi Radio Operator very early on.  He did participate in the 
relay of the Titanic's passenger list of survivors.  Later on, he tried to 
get credit for intercepting the initial SOS call.  Others in the 
industry/trade shot him down on this.
