Greetings Radio Fans,

My name is Andrew Cohen, I have just moved to the NJ/PA area, and
wondered if you can help me.

I have recently acquired a Fisher 400 receiver in good overall condition
and am in the process of restoring it.

My question is simple - the brushed aluminum front panel has all of its
screen printed letters, but it is very grubby - the kind of coating you
get from years of fingers turning the knobs.

Windex will not shift the coating, so I wanted to know what I could use
that will clean it without removing the letters. I was thinking of
Goo-Gone 2, this is a water based grime remover.

Any ideas?

Regards

Andrew
