[NevadaARES] Skywarn Activation - WX7RNO Reno

Due to the possibility of severe thunderstorm activity in the Northwestern and central parts of the state, WX7RNO at the National Weather service in Reno has activated Skywarn as of 1430 hours this afternoon. It is unknown how long the activation will be in progress, but this weather pattern should last until about dusk today and may return tomorrow afternoon as well.   All weather spotters and those with information are asked to call WX7RNO on the 147.150 + PL. 123.0 and 147.210 + PL. 100.0 linked system.  
    Reports from Tonopah ans southern NV can be taken via the IRLP/Echolink system Channel 8 of the Western Reflector and may be relayed to WX7RNO.  
    Currently heavy rain has been reported near Slide Mountain and in Truckee.  Updates as they become available.
