Kaydie Paschall, our CERT Coordinator was looking for volunteers
to assist at the CERT/CHSC booth.  This is the first I heard about
this evening but, it might be a golden opportunity to do some
recruiting for ARES as well.

I know it is short notice but, perhaps we could find a couple of
people interested in handling a table or booth for a while at this
event....

me. We will be sitting at a table sharing information about CHSC and CERT
with newcomers to the community.

EVENT:
Community Connections Thursday, May 26th, 2005 - Starting 10:00 am to noon
at the Nugget Hotel in Sparks

The Newcomers of Reno-Sparks is sponsoring the fifth annual Community
Connections Fair. The fair will be from 10:00 am to noon, in conjunction
with our regular monthly luncheon. The membership is invited to visit with
representatives from 15 or more organizations that need volunteers. Members
are encouraged to sign up to volunteer with any organization of interest.

This is a great opportunity for participating organizations and our
membership.
