[NevadaARES] IRLP/Echolink Nets

On Monday nights at 8PM is the Nevada EmComm Net held
on the NARRI repeater of 447.00 (pl 100) and the
simplex frequency of 146.46 with a pl 123. Check with
your local IRLP owners to find out what frequency 
is available to join the net in areas outside of Las
Vegas. The net is held on the IRLP Western Reflector
Channel 7 (9257).

On Wednesday evenings at 7PM is the Nevada Section
SKYWARN net held on the NV-GATE Echolink conference
node 152566. If you have Echolink look for the
conference listings on the software and connect to
NV-GATE. In Las Vegas the net can be heard on both the
447.00 repeater and 146.46 simplex frequency.

We would like to hear from more stations outside of
the Las Vegas area. In addition, we would like to find
more ARES and SKYWARN members who would like to help
with net control or provide discussion topics. SKYWARN
news and information will be listed on the Wednesday
night net and we'll soon be discussing plans for
SKYWARN Recognition Day 2004.
