[NevadaARES] Monday 8PM IRLP Net Format - Node 9257

The Monday night IRLP 8PM NV EmComm Net is being
evaluated whether to discontinue the net, keep it
going under the same format or completely change the
net format. 

Over that past several weeks, participation in the net
has dropped off considerably. The NV Section ARES
leadership is looking at several options to keep the
net going. We could use your help. I have set up a
yahoogroups poll on the SONARES email group list.
Please visit the web site and vote on one of the 4 net
format proposals. 

ARES/ARRL leadership net (includes open net
participant
discussion)
ARES/RACES leadership net(includes open net
participant
discussion)
No changes to the current format
ARES Statewide membership net only

The advantages of having an ARES/ARRL net allows all
the ARRL appointees to participate and discuss other
amateur radio topics (ARES, BPL, Club affliations,
Special Events..etc)

An ARES/RACES net allows for both ARES and RACES
members to discuss activities in both organizations.

ARES Statewide Net would be similar to the NV ARES HF
net format. ARES appointees SEC, DEC, EC and AEC's
would report on their activities and then call for
general net participant discussion/comments
