Thanks Paul.
As a Hazmat First Responder and an EMT I strongly urge everyone
listening to heed your words of warning! I suggest that everyone go to their
cleaning products stash sometime in the next three days and select three of
your most popular products. After selecting those products write their
ingredients on a piece of paper then go to the Internet or to a poison
control center and determine just what those ingredients really are. This
experience should frighten the bejeebers out of you and make you far more
careful than you are now.
One more note of caution! Federal law requires the manufacturer of any
product that poses a health hazard to print an antidote on the label of the
package. The Feds, in their infinite wisdom, did not require that the
antidote be correct or accurate! CDC has long since warned that many of the
antidotes are ineffective and, that some are more dangerous and harmful than
the substance they are allegedly supposed to counter-act.
OSHA and the National Fire Academy are also warning that many Material
Safety Data Sheets (commonly referred to as MSDS's) contain inaccurate
information regarding the products they are written about. In many cases
these inaccuracies are dangerous and even life-threatening.
    Be careful out there everyone.
Best Regards,
J. N7TOC
