[NevadaARES] SET This Saturday

There is some apparent confusion concerning the upcoming SET this Saturday.
Let me take this opportunity to set things straight.

1.    The SET is NOT cancelled.  All operations will continue as planned.

2.    With our approaching Pacific winter storm, it was decided that message
content
       would reflect actual weather conditions from the point of
origination.

3.    Given the fact that the storm may be less than expected, ANY message
may be        sent as a weather observation unless the information is
fabricated just for the
       exercise.  Fabricated weather observations MUST include the
statement: "THIS
       IS A DRILL MESSAGE" before the preamble is read and after the message
has
       been sent.

4.    Any and all messages generated for the exercise will be handled
regardless of
       actual content.  Areas that are affected by adverse weather from the
storm are
       asked to generate actual observed weather reports for their area.

If you have any questions concerning the exercise, please direct them to
your DEC.  Otherwise, we will expect to hear from you on Saturday morning as
planned.
