[NevadaARES] Level-I EmComm Training

Level-I classroom training scheduled for October.  The Northern Nevada
Amateur Radio Services organization is sponsoring the first Northern
Nevada EmComm training class.  Classes will be held on Sunday
afternoons beginning October 6th and running for five consecutive
Sundays where the exam session will end the classes on November
3rd.

Classes will be held at the VA Medical Center located at 1000 Locust
Street in Reno.  They will begin at 1:00pm sharp.  Cost of the course
will be $38.00 which includes the course book and additional material
provided by NNARS.  The exam fee is $10.00, payable on November
3rd.  You may contact the class instructors, Paul Cavnar, NN7B, at

questions or sign up for the class.

Certificates will be issued by ARRL once test results are confirmed and
may be downloaded from the internet or optionally mailed after verification.
