      === D-STAR Forum at RARSFest 2009 - Saturday, April 11 ===



We have a D-STAR forum scheduled at the RARSFest on April 11, from 12:15 - 
1:15 PM. RARSFest forums are held in the "lobby" of the Expo building.

My plan is to see who shows up, and probably divide into two groups:

- Innocent bystanders who are curious about D-STAR.

- Current D-STAR users who already have radios and want to get in on what's 
next for our area.

I'll play the VHF segment of my "Digital Voice" DVD for the newcomers 
(about 45 minutes). During that time, the experienced guys can meet in a 
corner, or maybe a small office if one is available.

When the video's done, we'll have a few minutes for Q&A and to talk about 
the local D-STAR scene.  More time would be nice, but we must then clear 
out for the SKYWARN forum at 1:15.
