NC Section Bulk Order: Anderson PowerPole





The North Carolina Section ARES now recommends using the 30 Amp Anderson
PowerPole connector as the standard ARES connector.



Wake County ARES EC Tom Brown N4TAB has volunteered to put together a
bulk purchase of connectors to achieve a quantity discount.  The
price he's obtained is:



        $0.62 per
red/black connector set (with 30 Amp contacts)

        $0.016 per
locking pin

        $0.105 per
extra 30 Amp contact



The deadline for the bulk order is July 12, 2002.

To Order Connectors:

We prefer that orders be place by groups - ARES groups, clubs, etc.,
rather than by individuals.  Check with your local club or ARES
group to see if they're putting together an order.  If not...
organize one!  If you absolutely must order as an individual, we'll
take it.



    * Add the total number of red and black connectors,
and multiply by $0.31

      (one red and one black connector needed
for a complete set).

    * Add the total number of extra contacts, and multiply
by $0.105.

    * Add the total number of locking pins and multiply by
$0.016.

    * Add $4.30 for shipping.
    * Include your name, call, phone number, e-mail
address 

      and shipping address.
    * Send your order and a check made out to {quot}Thomas
